The Chillicothe R-II Transportation Department works to provide for the safe and orderly transportation of our students to and from school and school-related activities. To help us in this effort, we ask that parents and guardians keep the following in mind:
Even if your student does not plan to ride the bus, please call us to let us know. Our
routes vary from one year to the next so it is best not to assume our stops will stay the same from year to year.
Our stop locations are subject to change as our ridership needs change.
If you have any questions or aren’t sure if your child is eligible for transportation, please
give us a call. If we don't answer, please leave a message and we will return your call.
Daily bus changes MUST be communicated to the Bus Barn or school building no later than 2 p.m. so that our drivers can accommodate those changes.
Parents of rural students are asked to call the Bus Barn by 6:30 a.m. on morning their child(ren) is not riding the bus.
Stop times given by the Bus Barn are estimates.
Stops may be elimiinated if no riders are present for three consecutive school days.
